OBD adapters

TrueMile EV reads your car through a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter — the small dongle that plugs into the port under the dashboard. It stays in the car, and the app finds it when you get in.

Recommended

Before you buy

Classic Bluetooth only
Other adaptersAn adapter not listed above may connect, but we cannot say it will, and very cheap clones often return fewer readings per second or drop data. The vLinker MC+ is the one we develop and test on.
Your car's own codesEnergy, charging and battery data use vehicle-specific codes, not only standard OBD2 data. Supported vehicles: .

The iPhone app

Not yetThere is no iPhone app yet. When there is, it will need a Bluetooth Low Energy adapter; the vLinker MC+ is dual mode (classic Bluetooth and BLE), so one adapter would cover both phones.
